First of all, this cover is stunning. It's more than enough to draw me in. After reading just the small sample that is available, I am hooked. The description wasn't kidding when it called Queenie relatable. It's so incredibly relatable to me, despite the racial and cultural differences, mostly because I just gave birth three months ago to my own IUD baby. Unlike Queenie, I was able to carry my pregnancy to term. I've also taken the morning after pill before and, while not the same as the pill used in place of a D&C, it still hurts like hell. I found that description incredibly accurate.
There are so many other aspects of this story that I find relate to my friends. We're in the same age group as Queenie and most of us don't know what we're doing with our lives. This is definitely a must read for Millennials and I can't wait until it comes out!
