I have been following Dan Koboldt's blog for some time and learning a lot. So I was excited to see this book and hopeful at the same time. I'm pleased to report that I learned even more from the book! No matter if you write with a lot of sci-fi in your work or even just a little, there's bound to be something in here you'll find yourself using. Much of it is written in a conversational style, very easy to read. (Although I confess to reading the genetics section twice in order to understand parts of it) No matter if you write hard science fiction, social sci-fi or a mix of genres with only a little science in it, this is the book for you. But honestly, even readers of sci-fi will learn something from this book. So if you're not a writer, don't fret, I think you'll still enjoy it.
