Totally not for me, but a really neat concept.

I've always wondered how good sci fi comes about. This book seems like it will be an excellent segue for individuals to apply science to their invented worlds. I have no interest in learning about the science behind sci fi, and I'm certainly not a sci fi writer myself, but I think this book has excellent potential for that audience.
