I don’t often write. When I do, it’s fanfiction that I don’t post, well, anywhere. However, I couldn’t resist reading this First Look, and I kind of want to read the rest of the book as well. It’s true, so often Sci-Fi isn’t well researched and ends up being a smidge light on the “sci” part. The writing was interesting and engaging, and the authors were definitely thinking of what parts of their jobs might be misrepresented in fiction. A useful resource for aspiring authors. (Also, was super glad to see that the full version includes a chapter on writing mental health issues. SO important.)
