It is a very creative idea from Dan Koboldt; doing a research on-field about fiction writing is not a usual idea that I got used to. From what I have read I believe that the book would be of so much value to professional as well as beginners in fiction writing, I love the variety of practical information from a qualified sources!
I have always wondered about the existence of such books. Just how much research should an author put into his book? I've read many books that were physical proof that the author had done the research - but then their head was seemingly so full of gained knowledge that it has changed the way the book was written, and not in a good way. This book will explain just enough to teach authors how to perfect the art of suspension of disbelief, even in those tough specific fields.
I'm excited to add this to our library in our language center, and to my own collection both! And what a treat to have humor worked in. It will be a terrific resource for writers and curious readers alike.
