One memoirs are probably one of my favorite forms of nonfiction. I love being able to learn about someone's life and the struggles and triumphs that they have had. I will never know what it is like to be a black man, but I do still enjoy reading memoirs. I have to say this was powerful. I may not know what it's like to be black, or a man, and I have no idea what it's like to be gay either. My heart broke and bled for young Broome.
