Although I can't identify with everything this memoir covers, as a Latina I can relate to not being white and growing up in the Midwest. I couldn't imagine being LGBTQ as well and how that would impact my mental especially since the racism I experienced growing up has definitely shaped me. The cover of him as a young boy is so adorbs and I'm def adding to my TBR!
