The cover is very endearing and I like it. I think I was interested just based on the cover and the title. There's just something about both that makes you think what is going to come up, what is this book about, what's going to happen? The author being a poet is really cool too but these were kind of the downfall for me. With all these things going for it I was too excited for the actual book. It just isn't anything like I would imagine it to be. This memoir is shocking and strongly written just not something I'd like to reach for.
