Memoirs have always fascinated me. I find it so incredibly brave to willingly write your life story and want people to read it. This memoir is exceptionally touching. Examining what it means to be a Black gay man trying to navigate a world that ridiculed anything non-white, anything feminine, could not come out at a better or more important time. Funny, heartbreaking, and real, I think this memoir is going to make waves.
