Honest and in your face!
This book is brutally honest, delving into topics that might make some uncomfortable. I loved his open honesty, and his courage in “putting it all on display” so to speak. The first chapter reflects on the beginning of a relationship with Bertrand, juxtaposing that with descriptions of his youth experiences with basketball. Later, he tells of his relationship with a woman. I want to get to know Brian more, and learn from his experiences as being a LGBT+ POC. Superb point of view and relevant voice for today’s current events!
