I really enjoyed the excerpt from this novel. It's interesting to hear someone's perspective and life story which differs greatly from my own. Brian Broome's writing is rich and descriptive. This seems like a very interesting and enjoyable memoir that highlights important societal issues. I like the cover a lot.
