I am entranced by Brian Broome's capability to convey his thoughts onto paper. I feel like I am in his head with him. I can feel his fear, struggles and nervous anticipation. He intertwines his present and past in such a way that makes it feel less like he's telling me his story and more like I am living it with him. Some memoirs feel like prompted interviews and his feels like a live replay of his life converted to a paper version.
