This book captured my attention with its beautiful cover and synopsis! It has an enemies to lovers trope, based on the fairytale Rupunzel, and they go on a quest to defeat the villains in this epic fantasy. I feel like there aren't that many retellings of Rupunzel, which drew me right in. I also liked the fact that there was a map at the beginning of the book, so I wasn't completely lost! I felt the story moved at a great pace and I couldn't put it down! Both Nox and Selestra had me smiling at certain times with their interactions, and I loved how both characters were somewhat relatable. The ending had me all emotional and want I g a sequel so they could go on more adventures! Alexandra Christo created an exciting world that I would like to see as a movie or TV show! I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys retellings and an amazing storyline!
