Princess of Souls by Alexandra Christo is a great fantasy adventure book for young adults and adults alike. When I saw the cover, I knew I had to give it a try. Then I realized who the author is, and got even more excited since I have heard great things about Alexandra's other works.
The book is billed as an 'enemies to lovers' trope but I don't think that quite shines through. Selestra and Nox have good chemestry, and they definitely do not get along with each other to begin with, but they aren't quite enemies. Thay being said, they do have great chemistry, just don't go into the book expecting them to be actual enemies.
The other characters definitely help flesh out the complex and intriguing world of Princess of Souls, and I loved the concept of predictig futures as the only magic left in the world, it was a unique take that worked very well!
