Alexandra Christo is an amazing writer who knows how to spin a tale. I was immediately fascinated by the Rapunzel Retelling/Greek Myth inspired aspects of the novel and dove in with so much excitement. Princess of Sous is a fun Young Adult paranormal adventure about Selestra and Nox, a Witch and a Soldier, whose fates and very lives and intertwined and dependent on each other. This story was fascinating and well written with excellent world-building, clearly defined magic systems, and well thought out characters who were fierce and dynamic. I enjoyed the enemies to lovers romance, and the tension that built up from the very beginning and initial meet.
Overall, this book was magic. I very much appreciated getting an advanced readers copy from both BookishFirst and NetGalley and am leaving this review voluntarily because all opinions are my own.
