The concept of this book makes me think of a crossroads demon: make a deal for your soul, get your heart’s desire. But it’s somehow more sinister because it comes with even more strings attached than a deal with the devil. The author’s descriptions in just the first few pages really drew me in, and I would be excited to read more of the story.
