Oooh this book sounds so good! I like the cover - it piques my interest. The concept of this story is really intriguing too, and I would love to see the trials people face to try and take the kings soul. I'm a sucker for a good fantasy, and this one sounds like something I'd like! I want to know more about the magic systems, the characters, and their relationship together. Plus, I want to know if one (or both) are still alive by the end of the book.
