Okay, first of all, Rapunzel is one of my favorite fairytale princess and I love this twist on it. I always find retellings fascinating and Princess of Souls did not disappoint! Not only does it have that wonderful element, it also has the classic YA lovers trope where they’re supposed to be enemies (at least I assume they’ll fall in love because it’s YA fantasy). Call it stereotypical, it’s still fabulous and fun. I really hope I win! I will read this cover to cover five times.
