I liked the cover but didn’t love the cartoon aspect of it. The description had me interested as I enjoy dark YA. I loved reading the First Impression. The last two chapters especially ended on a note that enticed one to keep reading. The map helped describe the world without words. The writing itself was excellent and did a fantastic job of showing rather than telling and getting you to feel you knew the characters quickly. I will be putting a hold on this book at my local library.
