I'm very intrigued by the concept of this book. I feel like it is to make us question what we would do to escape death. Would we try and make it past the "halfway point"? Would we take the bet to even try and outrun death? I want to know more about Selestra and her mother. I want to know how the king got the power to hunt people down. I want to learn more about Selestra and Nox and how they will come together. Definitely something that I'm looking forward to reading!
