I love when a book has a map! If I were into YA fantasy, I would definitely read this book. The storyline is intriguing and engaging, with smart dialogue and colorful characters. I felt immediately invested. I appreciate that the storytelling doesn’t have the “dumbed down” feeling of some YA books, like the author is trying too hard to speak to young people. This is a book any age could enjoy.
