The Princess of Souls is off to a strong start with this first impression. Christo does a great job building a world complete with magic and magical beings, giving a historical backstory and building suspense for the adventure in store in the rest of the book. I can see this being an immediate hit and a quick read for YA fans regardless of their chronological age.
