This book is wasn’t even on my radar but I couldn’t resist reading a first look and I can say I’m thoroughly impressed. Magic which can predict death sounds fascinating and Selestra’s isolation creates an extra layer to her character and power. Nox on the other hand seems very interesting and I’m curious to know his motivations. And the way this first look ends has been completely captivated and I can’t wait to know what happens next.
