There’s no doubt Prince of the Palisades is a well-crafted and intriguing story, from the obvious (will Jadon redeem himself?) to the more mysterious (why does his mom never visit California any more?). It seems grounded in modern teen angst and reality while being miles away from the average teen’s experience. The perfect formula for a classic but modern YA romance.
