Interesting concept for a book, just not my cup of tea per say. It was eye opening about the Neanderthal's being the first to "discover" foundation and using ground up rocks that had pigments to dabble on the face. But I got bored reading it just because make up isn't something I get excited about nor is beauty routines or how to apply it etc. I did like that this book mixed history with how to tutorials. To someone who likes make up and beauty this would be a perfect read for them.
