This book wasn't what I thought it would be and that is not a bad thing. I thought it would just be a bunch of pictures, but there's writing. It was cool to see the deep dive into beauty that males have done. There is such a negative view on males who do makeup, so I loved seeing the ancient rulers who wore makeup. I liked that I could identify some of the men on the cover (Shout out RuPaul)!
