During the pandemic, watching RuPaul's Drag Race has become somewhat of a second job. This book reminds me of an exact intersection between RPDR and a book I loved as a child, published in 1995 by Gloria Steinem, called "Herstory". It's a compendium celebrating the de-construction of gender and being truly yourself, and it is as beautiful as it is interesting. I'm grateful this representation exists.
