I'm really looking forward to reading all of David Yi's book "Pretty Boys" after reading the excerpt. While the cover shows illustrated snippets of modern icons - Freddie Mercury, RuPaul, Prince, RM from BTS - the book starts with chapters about cavemen who contoured their faces, eyeliner tips from Egyptian royalty, and gender fluid women who wore beards. Fascinating stuff! On first glance, I wasn't quite sure who the target audience was - teens? adult men? adult women? - but it's clear that Yi has written a book that can be enjoyed by many different readers. Excited to read more!
