Jo's character development was amazingly good, I think the author did a good job showing what is like for some women to work through their internal misogyny and it was beautiful to see Jo start to realise how beautiful female friendships are. As a main character, she did make me mad sometimes (esp with Jen's storyline because she deserved so much better!!) but I did enjoy to watch her grow into a person that could appreciate her relationship with friends, family and Dax!! Dax was such a good character too but I just wish we could see more about him and other characters. I didn’t really like Sam, I found him infuriating at times but i did enjoy watching Jo's friendship with Barney, I also wish we could have read more about him and their friendship because he seemed to be a better friend to her than even Sam.
But, really, this was a very interesting book and Jo was a very good main character to have.
