Going through the teen years is tough,especially for girls. At this age acceptance and finding someone to care about you is something a young girl thinks about. So many young girls doubt their worth and have poor self concepts like Jo. They will do what they think a boy wants to find what they think is love. I don’t know how this book will end, but it seems like one a young teen could learn something from.
