The writing style just isn't for me on this one honestly, but I did enjoy the premise of this book. In media, women see a lot of books where girls are torn down in some manner by the boys around them. I'm glad to see this lead isn't allowing this to destroy her sense of self, but rather empower her in her pursuit of love because this opinion is extremely ignorant of these boys.
