This was like a shot to my heart. I know she's going to boss up in the end, but still.

So, as the author says, I am one of those who didn't know what the term "practice girl" meant. Then I saw the Urban Dictionary reference, and I was kinda stunned. It's so disrespectful and demeaning, but anyways, back to the book. I was sucked in from the first paragraph. It got even better as I went, with Jo's perspective of AFTER ( you know) obsession. Her constantly thinking about what this means for their future together, and all her hope that he likes her back. Only to be dropped. Like, not even 15 minutes after. It made me want to do two things- 1. cry, and 2. punch Tyler. All of the tools are named Tyler, huh? It's like frick, this has happened before? All she wants is love, and these dumb guys are just stomping on her heart. And the end of the excerpt. The freaking end. I'm sad-angry now.
