This sounds like something many young girls may encounter

Lizzie Bennett is dealing with an issue I’ve seen all too often. It’s a problem often overlooked and not talked about! As a parent and an educator, I am really encouraged to see a book that highlights a character going through this issue of double standards that plagues so many impressionable females. I’m hopeful to see how Lizzie stands up for herself and doesn’t let this define who she is. I am anxious to read it and share with my students!
