Oh my gosh this book brought me right back to high school. Everything is just so much more confusing and feelings are so much bigger when you're a teenager. The opening scene is a teenage post-coital let down, where Jo thinks she'll now be in a relationship with this dude she has been hooking up with, but he hits her with the "we're just friends" line. Jo seems like such a sweetheart and my heart hurts for her. I am really hoping this book ends with her in a good place, getting everything she deserves!
