I never heard of a practice girl until now, but I have zero doubts it exists. Definitely sounds like something the patriarchy would concoct. I'm really torn because this book sounds like it will be incredibly challenging and emotional to read, but it also has the promise of being really powerful and have great feminist themes. I'd interested to read more.
