I like the perspective of Jo, she comes off as honest and forthright while being warm and likable. That’s just my first impression from this teaser though. I feel like the frank discussion of sex and relationships makes this book kind of special in how it’s contemporary/chick lit but also geared toward a younger audience than those genres usually tend toward. A sort of new adult novel but not firmly in the romance genre. The cover is cute but I don’t think it’s ideal for this book, something a bit less easily confused with YA would be better.
