First of all, I love the executive editors letter in the front of this book. It addresses the title, it's meaning, and her hopes for the reader. Pretty powerful.
My heart aches for Jo Beckett. What a horrible thing, to be thought of as (or called) a practice girl. The misogyny of men who feel this way makes me angry and causes me to root for this girl in the biggest way!
