As soon as I read the title ("Practice Girl"), I was getting THE DUFF vibes. Then I read the premise, and it all made sense (i.e. girl who gets labeled a hurtful nickname, and she tried to break out of that mold).
Anyway, I think this sound like a really intriguing coming-of-age story. The voice is engaging in the opening chapters, and I'd like to read more of this story.
