Fortunately, I've never had any experience with this term. It wasn't until this book that I even learned what it meant, and boy was that an eye-opener. I can't imagine how the protagonist feels about both herself and how she is see in the eyes of others. I think this will be a very inspiring read and I'm eager to continue!
