The characters a beautifully written and carefully constructed. I even found myself liking the villainous ones. Jo is a wonderful snapshot of what it means to be a senior, a teen, and generally what is like to be unsure. Her previous backstory is wonderful and really gives depth to her character. Silently praying she ends up with Sam.
