Six high school friends decide to hang out at a Halloween theme park that includes numerous haunted houses. Something goes terrible wrong that night and escaped killer begins killing people that enter a certain haunted house. The six all manage to get out with their lives but the trauma they have experienced follows them the rest of their life. Fast forward about a decade and one of the friends ends up murdered. Is it a coincidence or is someone trying to finish what was started?
This story had so much potential. I got to read a portion of the introduction and was really excited about this book. I don't think I've ever been let down more by a book in awhile. There was a lot of repetition through the book. There's at least three passages I'm pretty sure I read three different times throughout the book. Then when that wasn't happening every other chapter was a sex scene thrown in. They weren't overly descriptive but it just seemed random how they happened. I was really disappointed with this book. It was my first time reading this author and I know she's a pretty big name but I did not like this book.
