It's so easy, especially in High School, to feel like you're invincible. Nothing in the world can touch you, except what you choose to believe is important. The thought that the world or certain people in it might, at any moment, chose to invade your life and turn it upside down - well, it typically never occurs to the young and dumb. But Davey is different. He has experienced loss - his life has already been invaded, and so he has a greater understanding than most. He tries to explain to his cousin and her friends, but they just don't want to listen. What's that saying? You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make it think. I hope Sarah listens to Davey before it's too late. I can't wait to get "Out of the Darkness" and find out!
