Interesting premise. Halloween Haunted houses - are they actors or evil people!
Out of the Darkness by Heather Graham starts out on Halloween, 10 years ago. A group of friends are enjoying the seasonal haunted houses. One of the group is a boy with Down's Syndrome who seems to have the ability to talk to a ghost in the person of his dead father. He also seems to have other savant gifts.
Will the others in the group heed Davey's warning and stay out of this particular haunted house, or will they go ahead and enter?
This story has a lot of potential and just by reading the Prologue, I want to know what will happen in this story. Heather Graham sets the stage with a plot that can go anywhere. The characters are all seniors in high school and will be heading of to different colleges and different directions. I think this story will continue in the present time and I would love to know what will happen.
