Out of the Darkness by Heather Graham is an easy read. I have read many books by Ms. Graham, which I usually enjoy. This book is not one of her best but was still a good read. The positive storyline about Davey was a welcome change. The story starts with a horrific event at a haunted house attraction. Then the story jumps ten years into the future where one of the group of friends who witnessed the horror has been murdered in a method very similar to what happened years ago. Old friends reunite for safety and try to help the authorities solve the case. There were some unexpected twists in the book. At times I thought there were too many characters. This was a good read for a cold snowy day.
