The book cover and author’s name let you know right away that this is going to be a creepy good book. I really liked the character Davey who has Down’s Syndrome and seems to be the only character aware of the hidden dangers in the haunted houses that the teens are visiting. His insight seems to be a foreshadowing of what is to come and makes you really want to know what happens to these teens who decide to go into the second haunted house.
