Out of the Darkness has a really interesting concept and a different feel to it (based on the description and the excerpt I was able to read).
The introduction immediately grabbed my attention and sucked me in; wasting little time on letting us get to know the main character (Sarah) and her friends.
I'll admit I'm more than a bit concerned about what is going to happen to the kids we've been introduced to, especially since we know (thanks to the description) that Sarah is haunted by what (almost) happened.
