This seems like a standard mystery with the characters starting out as teenagers, have something bad happen to them, and then years later, as adults, finishing the mystery while dealing with the passionate feelings they had always had but can only act on them now due to the fact that they are adults.
I could be wrong about that, but from the prologue and the description of the book, I am not envisioning something that would be much different from the plots that have been done many times before. However, that is not a bad thing. The reason those types of plots work is because people like reading stories like that. So if you are a fan of those types of stories, then this book is definitely for you.

I am unsure what the picture has to do with the book, however I only read the first few pages so it may make sense later. The sun rising does make sense with the title, but I'm not quite sure how the rest goes with the story. Not my favorite type of cover and I would probably pass by it if it were on a shelf.
