Its hard to write an impression of only 5 pages. I'm assuming Davey is correct and that the haunted house is really messed up and their friends die. I'm curious as to what the rest of the novel is about - are we dealing with 18 year olds or now adults? Did everyone else die?
I'm a bit concerned about the Down Syndrome portrayal. I hope that the author does a good job and does not make it cliche. I felt like the teenagers seemed to bully Davey, which is a bit troublesome to me.
