I think this is supposed to be an adult/young adult book based on the fact that the characters seem to be in their early twenties, but the writing style feels like something I'd find in a middle grade book. Maybe it's because the preview only had five pages. The synopsis sounds interesting, but it's pretty bare and I'm not sure what to expect from this book.
