This is the second book I have read from this author. I recently read The Rules For Vanishing and loved it. I like how Kate uses various Multi media formats to tell the story ( interviews, recording transcripts, etc...) Her way of telling the story keeps you hooked. This is the forst couple of YA books I have read in many years. I am a lover of adult horror and thrillers. I will say that she really competes though. Her first novel had me scared a little bit. I think I have found a new favorite author. While I can tell that the book is YA from the main characters, the plot seems to lean more adult horror. Kate Marshall has a way of describing scenes and events that truely will give you nightmares. I loved the start of this book, and cannot wait to read the finished product. I am hooked and must know what happens. If you are a fan of horror this aithor is a must read.
